What to include

A useful note names the page and the numbers. Please include:

• Which page. The home calculator, a guide URL, or Privacy, Terms, or About.
• If a result looks wrong: N, I/YR, PV, PMT, and FV; payments per year (P/Y) and compounding per year (C/Y); beginning or end of period; and whether the rate is nominal or effective. Say which variable you solved for, the number the page returned, and the number you expected.
• If the page misbehaves: your browser and device, and what you clicked just before it broke.
• If it is a privacy request: whether you want access, correction, deletion, or to opt out of personalized ads, and whether you are writing from the EEA, the UK, California, or somewhere else.

Do not send account numbers, full government ID numbers, or other secrets. The calculator never asks for them, and email is a poor place for them.

What a message can cover

• How a variable, sign convention, or P/Y and C/Y setting works
• A result that does not match a worked example in the guides
• A correction to a guide
• Privacy questions about AdSense cookies and the EEA/UK consent message

We do not give personal financial, tax, mortgage, or investment advice by email, and we cannot quote a rate or tell you whether to borrow or invest. The site is educational. The Terms of Service explain the limits of the calculator, and the About page explains how the math runs.
